Kiski Valley Presbyterian ChurchKiski Valley Presbyterian Church, Allegheny Township

Several families came together for home bible studies to seek God’s word in its fullest meaning in 1983. That was the beginning of a three year journey of study and prayer that led to a new congregation, Kiski Valley Presbyterian Church (Presbyterian Church of America) in 1986. The church began a new journey of growth, prayer, study of God’s word and maturity in their Christian walk. With a foundation in Reformed theology and the Westminster Confession, the church has undertaken its ministry. A Men’s Bible Study is held on Mondays, Women’s Bible Study on Wednesdays, Small Groups on Fridays and Saturdays, and a Youth Group on Monday nights. Vacation Bible School is held in June. The church also actively reaches out with programs for missionary support, visitations, and other forms of ministry. One of the strong foundations of church members has been their prayer life and time together in prayer. The main emphasis of the church is on the word of God and its application in their lives, ministries, and outreach programs.
